san francisco at 42 and san jose is a chilly 37. cloudy and cool morning. showers are going to be spreading south. more showers coming in on sunday for the bay area. we get an unusual cool start to the day and maybe a few showers this afternoon as we head out the door, a few peaks of the sun. temperatures will only be in the 40s by 9:00 and then the 50s in the bay area. let me show you where it's coming from. this system that's coming out of the gulf of alaska, we're just about to get hit by those showers, not terribly frigid showers. it's not going to amount to much. it will be at most a tenth of an inch. for monday if you're headed out, a high of 59, winds out of the west. we don't look so bad either. temperatures in mid 50s for the bay area with 55 at mountain view, 54 in the city and 57 in oakland. these showers favor the north bay. sunday afternoon some rain and an unsettled week ahead. we will chat about that in a bit. for now back to ann. >> thanks. >>> get red to i -- ready to say good-bye to the giant bagel and cup of coffee that sits on top of a c
